Core Responsibilities
  • In charge of billing assurance of prepaid, post-paid and fixed services platforms.
  • Carry-out Internal Control Environment (ICM and SOX) by executing controls designed and approved by management to ensure efficient operation of billing platforms.
  • Tracking offline rated revenue streams from mediation through rating and ensure all CDRs are captured and included in a bill run.
  • To support customer service with customer complaint related to prepaid and post-paid and ensure all complaints are addressed accordingly.
  • Support finance department on month end closing by providing revenue streams and responding to their inquiry on any of revenue streams that require clarifications
  • Follow up on billing platforms issues raised by auditors to ensure are addressed and fixed on time.
  • Work closely with internal stake holders to ensure all issues identified on billing platforms are addressed on time to ensure accurate reporting of company revenues.
  • Improve current billing processes and carry out implementation of new processes by focusing on automation.
  • Any other responsibility that will be assigned by supervisor/Manager
Qualification, Experience & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering or related fields.
  • Strong programming background, Data analytics and self-efficient in writing SQL scripts.
  • Excellent Communication skills (fluent in English and Swahili)
  • Team work spirit, ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Information Technology, Finance, Data analytics.
  • Experience required 2-3 years in telecommunication industry, Experience in an area of prepaid and postpaid will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose
The MFS Partnership Specialist has complete ownership of all MFS Partners Remittance and Value-Added Services products, and the performance thereof. The MFS Partners Specialist will be accountable for the scoping, design, implementation and commercial initiatives of the Partners portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
· Own End-to-End products for the MFS Partners remittance and VAS portfolio, as well as the MFS App and all its KPIs. Products will be specified as and when necessary.
· Manage and work closely with 3rd Party providers to manage the operations and marketing of such products.
· Work with marketing (consumer), Sales & Channels, Customer Experience and others key stakeholders (both internal and external), creating winning proposals and added value solutions for the company.
· Responsible for the scoping, design, implementation and commercial initiatives of Partner products and solutions.
· Responsible for the management of penetration and usage of all Partner products through marketing strategies (ATL & BTL), as well as educational campaigns & strategies.
· Manage the Consumer Understanding campaigns.
· Engage the Data Science/analyst team, to further analyze campaigns and products. 
Qualification and Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Investment and other related Commercial fields. MBA is an added advantage.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Financial related institution (financial services preferably).
· Technical qualifications & knowledge would be an added advantage.
· Strong MS office and analytical skills
· Good understanding of commercial aspects, analytics, and product design.

Job Purpose
Responsible for the analysis, design, improvement and maintenance of data cubes for decision making, provide adequate support to data cube users and verify constantly data quality and make reports efficiently.

· Analyze requirements from different units within MFS.
· Collect information from different systems.
· Program data upload, download and transformation related to data cubes and new cubes program.
· Support different functional areas for statistical information.
· Reporting and analyzing of data warehouse data for various stakeholders.
· Troubleshooting data problems and working with various departments and parties accordingly in resolving problems.
· Organizing data for a variety of sources generating standard and ad hoc reports.
· Reviewing reports and queries for accuracy.
· Working with other team members analyzing requirements and design of report solutions.
Qualification and Experience · University degree in Finance, Administration, Economics or related field
· At least 2 years of work experience in the related field
· Proficiency level in MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio
· Ability to query, script and analyze data, through SQL, R-programming, and related programs.
· Proficiency level in numerical analysis (business and finance) and interpretations
